Ninja Warrior is famed for being the toughest assault course on Television!
Originally started in Japan with the title “Sasuke”, Ninja Warrior found a huge home in America, and lately in parts of Europe.
With thousands of applicants and only a few hundred making it to the heats, only a hand ful have ever made it through the gruelling 3 round challenge.
Well this year, the UK’s first ever Ninja Warrior has taken place. Only 250 contestants were to make it through the auditions and into the heats which took place up in Manchester, late March.
Our very own Craig Robinson was one of the lucky applicants that made it through the auditions and into the heats.
We can’t say how he did, but you can watch the 8 part series every Saturday , 7pm.
ITV – Ninja Warrior
At the start of the year, Made in Cardiff TV contacted us to do an interview on Fluidity, parkour in South Wales and our quest for a venue and outdoor park!
Siriol Griffiths came down to interview Frazer for an episode of “Left Field , Right Pitch”
Craig Robinson and Frazer Meek are currently the ONLY two level 2 Parkour ADAPT qualified coaches, in the whole of Wales.
Craig and Frazer first took the pilot of the course in 2012 , but have now fully passed the course.
The course is famed for having one of the lowest pass rates in any Level 2 qualification , due to its gruelling nature and high percentage required (90% overall , with 3 days of tests after 5 days of learning!)
Under NGB regulations, a coach is required to be Level 2 to run their own class with no other supervision!
The level 2 is developed by ADAPT Qualifications , Parkour Generations and ParkourUK (the National Governing body)

We were once more invited back to work at the mighty pop up city Boomtown!
With a seven man strong team, we were to be once more jamming out and providing workshops up in the Kidz area of Town!
A lovely tranquil part of the festival where kids and adults alike are invited to take part in games, workshops and other splendour!
We created a big scaffolding rig with lots of other fun obstacles, and after a serious jam on it invited all of the kids and parents to join in!
The official video for 2014 is above, and check some of our images below!
We were invited to host a jam and workshops at the Salvation Army in Cardiff.
Teaming up with our friend Andrew from A.I.M , we brought the scaffolding set up down and some coaching blocks. With some great music being blasted, and the sun on our side, we jammed out on the equipment and then taught all those that wanted to get involved some basics.
With a theme of the human potential , it went down pretty damn well and we are glad to have got this chance to teach others some of their physical capabilities.
Hope to do this again!
Fluidity were commissioned by the worlds leading parkour video blog, “The Flow Show” to make a short documentary as a part of the “Flow Goes” series , based on Cardiff , The capitol city of Wales and its parkour scene.
Featuring Frazer Meek and Craig Robinson of Fluidity Freerun taking you through a history of the sport in Wales, the current scene and plans for the future!

Fluidity finally got a huge chance to be a part of the maddest, most happening festival in the UK, and most likely the world.
Boomtown is one of the most infamous arts and music festivals.. There really is no describing it, so check out this video of the fest below.
We were based up in Kidztown at the festival, which is a chill area full of fun activities, shows and delights for the kids and their parents. A nice break away from the rest of the festival, we built a huge scaffolding rig with other structures and jammed on it each day. After the jams we were letting the kids and even the adults give it a good go with some hour long workshops!
On top of that, we were once more involved with mighty Bassline Circus, doing a short performance on stage each night in the largest dance tent of the fest. With a stage built like a party slum, full projection art and a couple of thousand people watching, this is easily one of our favourite performances we have ever done!
Will hopefully have footage and all that online sometime soon!
Back in March Fluidity Freerun were invited to an epic SS13 Collection Launch @ No 5 Cavendish Sq!
We were then commissioned to create a freerunning video for Onepiece , and thought it would be fitting to film us at the party and getting there en-route!
In usual slacker fashion we were pretty late and there wasn’t time for a bus…. Here is what ensued!
Big thanks to Sam Irving of Lighttrap Films for helping shoot this!
Editing , B Camera and colour grading by Frazer Meek of TwoFootTall Productions
Track – Featurecast -Shining Star (Mr.Deepstar Re-Breakmix)
Freerunners are – Pretz Gzrenda , Frazer Meek, Rhidian Thomas, Tracy Morris , Craig Robinson and Thomas Jones
“JUST IMAGINE IF YOU PUT ALL THE AMAZING MUSIC CARDIFF HAS TO OFFER ON ONE STREET OVER ONE WEEKEND. THERE WOULD BE ROCK, REGGAE, HOUSE, FOLK, BLUES, FUNK, HIP HOP, JAZZ, DISCO, SWING, METAL AND EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN…
PROMOTERS, LABELS AND BANDS WOULD ALL WORK TOGETHER IN SOME UTOPIAN DISPLAY OF SOLIDARITY TO SHOW THE REST OF THE COUNTRY THAT CARDIFF IS ABSOLUTELY BUZZING.
WELL SOD DREAMING, WE DID IT! AUGUST BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND 2013 SAW OVER 150 BANDS PLAY ACROSS 8 VENUES ON WOMANBY STREET – THE HEART OF CARDIFF’S BLOSSOMING LIVE MUSIC QUARTER!”
What an amazing idea for bringing together all the music and arts in Cardiff. HUB fest was absolutely amazing, and Fluidity were invited to perform doing some street acrobatics and parkour! (Dressed as ninjas I might add!)
Check the video here!
Linked with the work we did with Groundworks and Playworks, Fluidity were invited to come up to a youth session in Briton Ferry to deliver a freerunning taster.
Searing hot heat and a bit of equipment in a field, as well as a play in a park and it was a lovely successful day!
